The Future Development Program (FDP) is the entry-level tier of the High Performance Program. The program focuses on the identification and support of athletes aged 12 – 13 years of age and on the development of aspiring elite coaches.
Australian Indigenous Basketball (AIB) has announced a roster of 12-players who will represent the 2018 Apunipima Australian Indigenous Men’s National Team (All Stars) in the 5th Annual Trans-Tasman Basketball Series.
Basketball Queensland had 4 teams – North and South Girls and North and South Boys go over to the US for the 2018 USA Development Tour from the 29th June to the 10th July. All teams competed in an NCAA Accredited Tournament, visited UCLA and Loyola Marymount University, went to Disney and California Adventure Park and got to see many other famous US attractions.
Congratulations to the following athletes who have been selected for the 2018 Talent Development Program. Formally known as the U15 Emerging Teams, the Talent Development Program allows Basketball Queensland to better cater to the need of the athletes within that age group and further instilling the athletes in the Queensland Style of Play whilst providing international playing opportunities for the younger group.
