It is with a great deal of sadness that I advise that Leonard King, the Basketball Queensland, General Manager – Game Development, has tendered his resignation. Leonard has accepted an offer from Basketball New Zealand to be their General Manager – High Performance. Leonard will leave Basketball Queensland on Friday, 8 December 2017
Sean Baker has proven that no obstacle or set back will stop him being able to play basketball. The 15-year-old rising star, whom last year played in the Under 16 State Team for Mackay Basketball, was forced to put his dreams of playing professional basketball on hold after suffering a cardiac arrest during a warm up for a basketball game in July last year.
