Previously under the banner of Top of the North, the Queensland North Junior Basketball Competition (QNJBC) is an association-level representative competition catering for players in the Under 12 to Under 18 age groups who live north of Mackay.

Tournaments run from September until March with events hosted by north Queensland associations.

This competition gives elite junior players in north Queensland the opportunity to compete against other Basketball Queensland affiliated associations in a manner that is not restricted by distance and travel.
