Sean Baker has proven that no obstacle or set back will stop him being able to play basketball. The 15-year-old rising star, whom last year played in the Under 16 State Team for Mackay Basketball, was forced to put his dreams of playing professional basketball on hold after suffering a cardiac arrest during a warm up for a basketball game in July last year.
In late September, Basketball Queensland’s Referee Development Manager Madi Crowley was one of two Australian referees selected to attend the 2018 FIBA Melanesia Cup in Papua New Guinea.
