
#BQNBA2K Phase 2 Preview
After two and a half weeks of nonstop #BQNBA2K action, complete with clutch finishes and a lot of LeBron cameos, 200 gamers and 20 Associations have advanced from Phase 1 of the tournament.
With Phase 2 already underway, here’s how the divisions have shaped up:
PlayStation 4
Junior Representative – 32 Gamers
Just 32 gamers have advanced to Phase 2, competing across eight different pools to qualify for Finals. Both Northside Wizards and Townsville Basketball are dominating the division, each with five representatives progressing to Phase 2, while Brisbane (4), Rockhampton (3) and Southern Districts Spartans (3) have the numbers to help with their Finals run.
Only the top seeded player from each pool will advance, as 32 gamers are whittled down to a Top 8.

Senior Representative – 16 Gamers
Rockhampton and Toowoomba have run rampant over this division, as more than half of the players remaining represent one of these two Associations (five and four representatives respectively).
There are only four pools in Phase 2 and only the Top 2 seeded players from each pool will progress to the Finals.

Open Juniors– 32 Gamers
In what was previously one of the largest divisions in the entire tournament, just 32 of our original 82 gamers will proceed to Phase 2. Players have been divided into eight pools, with the top seed from each pool set to progress to the Finals.
Open Seniors– 32 Gamers
Just 32 participants remain in the battle for individual honours in the PS4 Open Senior division. Following the same structure as the Open Juniors, players have been divided into eight pools, with the top seed from each pool set to progress to the Finals.

Sunshine Coast Phoenix are leading the charge to Finals with an impressive six representatives progressing to Phase 2. The remaining 32 gamers have been split across eight pools, with the top seeded players from each pool set to progress to the Finals.

As the smallest division in the tournament, the eight players advancing from Phase 1 will progress straight to the Finals, starting on June 13. All three Logan Basketball representatives have been knocked out, as only South West Metro, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba Basketball gamers remain.
