
#BQNBA2K 2020 Champions
The inaugural #BQNBA2K Online Tournament tipped off in May with over 400 registered participants and 20 associations represented. Now after five weeks of non stop NBA 2K action and over 1080 scheduled games, we have crowned our eight #BQNBA2K 2020 champions.
Each division champion will receive a trophy and a brand new Molten Australia basketball.
PS4 Junior Representative Champion – Lleyton Ward (Townsville Basketball)
Lleyton played Red City Roar’s Alex Franklin in the PS4 Junior Representative Grand Final Series. Needing to go to a third game tie break, Lleyton edged Alex 74 – 69 to claim the PS4 Junior Rep title for Townsville Basketball.

Xbox Junior Representative Champion – Sean Norman (Moreton Bay Basketball)
Sean played South West Metro Pirates’ Lachlan Mackenroth in the Xbox Junior Representative Grand Finals Series. Sean claimed the Xbox Junior Rep title for Moreton Bay Basketball in the second game, overcoming Lachlan 76-64 for a second straight win.

Alex played Rockhampton Basketball’s Mylique Prior in the PS4 Senior Representative Grand Finals Series, claiming the PS4 Senior Rep title for Toowoomba Basketball in just two games (the second game due to forfeit).

Xbox Senior Representative Champion – Jamaal Robateau (Sunshine Coast Phoenix)
Jamaal played Toowoomba Basketball’s Seth Ham in the Xbox Senior Representative Grand Finals series. These two are no strangers, having met before in the first round of Phase 1, though Jamaal was able to shake off his previous loss to Seth, claiming the Xbox Senior Rep title for Sunshine Coast Phoenix in straight games.

Thomas got off to a great start with an early win in the bag, but Adrian came back firing in Game 2. Thomas claimed the division title in Game 3, overcoming Adrian 64-53.
