Australia is one of 80 nations competing for one of 32 spots at the World Cup, with the process including six qualifying windows over a 15-month period over the four regions of Asia/Oceania, Africa, Americas and Europe.
Queenslanders Chris Goulding and Aron Baynes, donned the green and gold jersey for the Australian Boomers at the 2019 World Cup in China, falling just short of a medal by finishing forth after losing to France for bronze, 67-59.
Qualification for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will take place from November 2021 to February 2023, with the first window of qualification being played from November 22 – 30, 2021.

1st Window: November 22 – 30, 2021
2nd Window: February 21 – March 1, 2022
3rd Window: June 27 – July 5, 2022
4th Window: August 22 – 30, 2022
5th Window: November 7 – 15, 2022
6th Window: February 20 – 28, 2023
