QLD Coaches Invited to Emerging Coach Initiative
Basketball QLD FDP Announcements
Congratulations to those athletes selected into Basketball Queensland’s Future Development Program (FDP). The FDP is a successfully proven program, which has seen athletes go on to represent Australia and secure college scholarships in the USA.
This entry-level program into Basketball Queensland’s High-Performance Program is the first step towards representation for Queensland.
These athletes will be involved in an eight-week Individual skill development program which will culminate in a four-day full-state camp. Working under the guidance of Basketball Queensland’s State Performance Managers – Brady Walmsley (North) and Mel Downer (South).
We trust that you would join us in congratulating these athletes as they embark on their journey towards representative basketball.
For those athletes residing in South East Queensland, training will commence on Saturday 6th May at QAS with the girls commencing training at 1pm-2:30pm and boys 2:30pm-4pm.
For those athletes residing in Central and North Queensland, you will be contacted directly by your home associations.
